About Us
Ian Lancaster has been working as a window cleaner in the North Kent area for almost 40 years. For most of this time he has operated as a Sole Trader, using the traditional “bucket and ladder” method. During this time he has provided his service to many hundreds of satisfied residential customers, and a small exclusive group of commercial contracts.
Following the Governments restrictions on the use of ladders in 2004 (The “Working at Height Directive”) he invested in a modern Water Fed Pole system using Absolutely Pure Water.
In 2006 after some years of careful planning he embarked on an ambitious project to expand his business by way of a Franchise Network. There is currently a total of six liveried vans, one Principal and six professional and committed Franchisees who take pride in the ownership of their businesses under the “Ian Lancaster Window Cleaner*” banner.
